Mark H. Roberts Photography (MHR Photography), Is a photographer based within Worcestershire, West Midlands.

MHR Photography website allows Mark to upload, display and the ability to sell his photographs on-line via PayPal. With a very simple administration section which allows him to upload and set a price on the photograph really simply. Since the website is database (MySQL) driven, once Mark has uploaded and entered a price. The photograph will automatically appear within the category, this also links in to PayPal.

Other than a gallery/catalogue area, MHR Photography also required a guestbook. The guestbook has a moderation section in the administration area to allow / deny comments posted on the website. This helps to stop the “manual spam”, where someone will manually enter a captcha code so the comment is posted.

A dark alternative feel and look for the website, to suit the look / style of the model. The is running on a PHP & MySQL system, which allows editing on the site easier for the user. With a secure administration section, for uploading new galleries along with other administration features. Such as to remove comments from the guestbook, update links and post some news and updates.

This website was built using PHP scripting language and MySQL Databases, along with using W3c Valid (X)HTML 1.0 Strict and CSS 2.1 standards. Extra scripting used was the awesome jQuery Library, to provide a simple and effect way of browsing her portfolio on-line.
